Excellent shot for a start of holiday season. Those candy colours are so attractive especially on that warm low light, which is surprisingly even. Those woven looking ones are quite special.

It looks like a snow highway where the shadow stripes add special interest. Looking at the fingerprint I thought this would be cross-country. But obviously she's going downhill and fast.

Tight curves of the rails make this interesting. It's like the rails are trying to stay away from those buildings. B&W works well here.

Cool, correctly focused shot of these cute marmots. Harmonous all brown colours. Nice that the sounds worked so well. Marmots aren't migratory so if you know where they live they are not hard to find.

Just lovely framing where fresh leaves surround the main subject. Low upwards angle sort of glorifies this little church. The cross on the right is a good extra detail.

Hi George,
The most beautiful setting between sky and river also reflecting blue tones. Building is huge and all the sharp edged details are special. Symmetric framing is the right choice here.

Beautiful off the beaten track place on steep hill slopes. One would expect such a place to be abandoned. But obviously sheep still keep that bright green lawn short.

The cloud of steam and smoke is massive, when this main line locomotive passes through this station. Wider framing gives plenty of space for the smoke, I like it.
