Great Royaldevon 2019-12-13 2:23

Hello Mariusz,

Your photograph suggests that voting is in ruins!
You could be right!
There are pluses and minuses whichever way we vote.
I did vote with my head and my heart, which for once were in agreement! It would seem most didn't agree with me!

Your photograph shows a really crisp close-up of the ruins.
The lighting is excellent and the the textures almost palpable.

Have a good w/e,
Bev :-)
Like most people, I appreciate the variety of people and the skills are are in this country. If you travel back in time, you will find that all countries are a mix of different races!

Default To Royaldevon: tough choice

Hi Bev,
thank you for your kind and wise words.
I acknowledge that was not an easy choice. But I hoped for a different result.
Few weeks ago I have seen a British school child in poor quality school clothes begging for money at the entrance to KFC.
I didn't experience anything like that even in Poland. I had tears in my eyes.
I see your NHS is collapsing over the time I am here.
I am not worried about myself, I am adaptable, I have a great job in a non-British company and I can easily find work in other countries. I made big changes so many times.
But looking purely from the perspective of British people, I don't think it was a good choice.
For hundreds of reasons. People were really manipulated.
The consequences will come soon.
I am just worried that those who caused the mess will now accuse EU for a "revenge" and they will blame immigrants instead of simply seeing that what will happen is a simple consequence of their decision.
I hope so much that I am wrong though.
Kind regards,
Mariusz

Default The Election

Hi Mariusz, I agree with you that a certain number of untruths were applied before the referendum but I don't think you are right about people blaming immigrants. I have seen a number of programmes where employers and the general public have been quizzed about immigrants and there doesn't seem to be any antagonism. Of course, you will always find exceptions to any rule; that's a way of life.

Hope you have a lovely w/e,
Bev

Hi Bev,
I hope you are right.
I am just worried it may escalate now.
Kind regards,
Mariusz
