Great petertee 2005-06-20 5:03

Hi David
Lovely and sharp throughout and no noise even tho' at ISO1600!! The cool evening light is well portrayed and I'm fascinated by how it seems so right to have a big block of red so close to the viewer. Is it the diagonals of the glazing bars pointing towards the reflected band of light and hence out of the picture?
Well done, you seem to have made a fine seam to mine with this collection.
Cheers
Peter

Hi Peter, thanks for your kind words.
I took a number of photos here - and was 'surprised' at which worked and which did not.
All part of the learning curve for me I guess.
Anyway - I was about to buy a telephoto zoom (17-85mm) to complete my new DSLR kit, but decided to wait until the end of the year so I can concentrate exclusively of learning to drive this 10-22mm wide angle job. It alters perspective so much I'm quite amazed at what comes out of the box.

Yes, ISO1600 works well too :-)
