Great KevRyan 2006-11-14 17:54

A beautiful accolade to one of my favourite (artists) photographers too .....not any old photographer but a photographer as you say with insight and sensitivity and great skill......your image is however very much yours and you are also someone i admire greatly...not just for the photographs but also your sensibilities and insights into photography and photographers...this image brings me to a mindful return to a meeting I was at today in the english city of Lincoln......I reminded the meeting of a phrase i first heard used at a conference in Belfast a few years ago .......'Planners Make Spaces but People Make Places'.....this juxtaposition of such a homely unique human presence against the investment millions of the brave new world of architecture behind just illustrates this need for such balance in the development of human environments........

best wishes Kev
