i was telling patrick(photilus)..dunno if you follows his posts that very few nowadays showcase their landscape shots in monochrome..and there you are..

a bit of the legacy of ansel adams..keeping it alive, would love to see more this way, but only if you can bring out the tones..:)

Hi Sayeed,

Thanks very much for your critique! I am going through patrick's photos now - they are indeed fantastic compositions... Indeed the legacy of ansel adams (actually, I've seen some of Adams' rarer color photos - they arent that good...).

I agree - the problem is in the tones - sadly, dynamic range is heavily limited with small-sensor cameras...

And btw - it's great that your referred to your other critique - that's how TE used to be before the change - a lot more community-like
