Great Royaldevon 2018-10-03 2:57

Hello Ike,

This is a grand, old building with a pleasing design of tall arched windows and pillars. The doorway, in particular, is very attractive, standing above the ground with decorative panels each side. It looks to be ready for some immediate tlc, to maintain it for later generations.
Your phone works really well as a camera!
I saw on whilst on holiday which took amazing photographs! I have been very tempted to get one! So much easier than carrying a big camera!

I'm intrigued by the building's name! Are ladies allowed in the synagogue?

Have a lovely day,
Bev :-)

Default To Royaldevon: Ladies allowed in the synagogue

HI Beverley,
Good question: Ladies are allowed in a syngogue, but in most of those they are allowed in a separate entrance.
But, within the reform-movement synagogues and some historic sites the crowd can mix.
Thanks,
Ike
