Great holmertz 2018-12-14 3:05

Hello Bev,
Fewer colours than in your latest photo, but just as bright and just as superb reflections in the wet street (and nearby windows). Isn't it funny how the raindeer is such a strong symbol of Christmas in countries where there are no raindeers? ;-) In Sweden Father Christmas (Jultomten) is usually depicted pulling the sleigh filled with gifts himself. Our reindeers can't fly.
Kind regards,

Default To holmertz: Flying Reindeer!

Thank you for your warm critique, Gert.

I can only add, just wait until you meet Rudolf, Dancer, Prancer, etc. then you will see how reindeer fly!!
Have you ever read the poem 'The Night Before Christmas' by Clement Clarke Moore.
It's a must! I always read it to my children before bedtime at Christmas!

Have a good day,

I don't think I've read that poem, although it has been translated to Swedish more than once. But we have a great variety of our own Christmas poems and stories so we don't really need any American ones. It's quite enough to have "Donald Duck's Christmas" on TV every year since the 1950's.

Hello Bev and Gert,

In Poland, we have no raindeers nor Rudolf, only Święty Mikołaj (Santa Claus). But now Christmas on TV without Home Alone (Kevin). It is a long tradition .
Have nice days before Christmas
