Great holmertz 2019-08-05 10:10

Hello Paul,
Three photos showing the beauty of these plantations when the light is right, as it is here. It could almost be taken for an abstract composition of just green shapes. Of course I wouldn't have objected to see a one or two tea-pluckers in red saris, but... what to do if they're not there?
The cheap tea sold Indian style in the streets and railway stations, for instance, is always ready made with much sugar and milk. It is probably an acquired taste. I didn't think it was so bad, but when I stopped using sugar I found out that you can have perfectly normal tea "English style" in slightly better restaurants and hotels. I think they called it "tray tea".
Best regards,
Gert
