Great holmertz 2019-09-22 4:23

Hello Jean,
I must confess my total ignorance of Chagford, but this is certainly a very curiously designed building. Is it a sign of the times that the town's most distinctive building now houses public toilets? That doesn't seem to be paying enough respect to the local history. But the photos are nice, with very good light and colours. The woman pulling her bag is well placed and I get rather curious of the golden statues to the left. What on earth...?
Best regards,

Default To holmertz: gold figures

Hello Gert, I knew that I should have mentioned the gold figures!
There were two of them, and there were two gentlemen selling tickets for their annual film festival, which is being held next week.
As we will not be attending, just a little too far from where we live, I didn't really take in any information about it.
Shortly after this shot, I saw one of the men with an 'Oscar' under his arm disappearing into one of the public houses!
Thanks for your comments.
Regards Jean.
