Photographer's Note

Another slide deep from my dry cabinet:

Just a bit of fun while I was out searching for photo ops when the gorgeous morning winter sun threw some magical light & shadow against the backdrop. It's about hectic Marrakesh market place and its people, interesting aspects of Moroccon life and it was the shadows I found intriguing. A jolly little scene and perhaps reminiscent of children's fairytale story book and the way they seemed to be playing with their shadows.

They are now probably mothers with many children ....

A zoomed capture of no great artistic merit, just thought it may raise our imagination to make up a story or two !!

Hi Abmdsudi,a very nice memory from your trip in Morocco many years ago,i been in Marrakech 3 times,so it's nice to see something from a place that i know very well. Artistic capture,not the best sharpness because the zoom and wihtout tripod,but very well composed and showing the people and shadows on the typical red wall of this city,i like it! nice the snapshot from Morocco with the passing by women with the shadows in front of them and behind them to makes the image more attractive.I like the way that outline against the painted wall.

I like the shadows on the wall adding a strong graphic element and counterbalance to the 2 women walking by. Adequate sharpness and nice textural details in the wall. Tfs!

it is very difficult to take photos of the people of this country, they hate photos. nice use of the shadows mixed with the people in motion. excellent result.
