Photographer’s Note
Driving north of Midelt in Morocco in April we drove through quite a bit of snow. The melt was on and we came across a shepherd with his flock feeding on patches of grass in the middle of the snow. They all (man and beast) looked mighty cold!
I took the photo with plenty of zoom and have then cropped the photo to bring the sheep a bit closer.

Hi Ian, snow is not something I would normally associate with Morocco, so combined with this unique composition, I find this photo intriguing. The poor sheep and shepherd! I like the lines of green and brown in amongst all that white snow. Nice spotting, Lisa.

Hello Ian,
It is an image of Morocco completely strange and surprising, when one is accustomed to the stereotypes of the zones arrides or the desert. Excellent composition, very interesting work. Cheer.
Have a nice day.
Cordially.

Hello Ian,
This image is unusual in this country, although some of the Atlas mountains to ski there, but whenever you think of Morocco, comes to mind its proximity to the sand desert, not mountains and snow fields.
Magnificent closed frame and excellent composition.
Best regards,
Charo
