Photographer's Note
I took a bullet train from Guilin to Shenzhen and then a driver took me to cross the borderline with Hong Kong. In the middle of the way I got some images of the town, including this curious skyscraper.
This megalopolis has around 20 million of inhabitants and became huge when it was transformed in a special capitalist zone inside China in the 1980's.
............

Ola Jorge
Wow! Hasn't this town changed a lot since I last visited in 1999! Good sharpness and the b&w version works well here. I wonder what nickname locals have given it? The Saltshaker perhaps? Tfs!

Hello Jorge,
From bullet train to bullet skyscraper. That building is very originally shaped. It looks like it's ready to be sent to the moon. I like the inclusion of the bridge with the man looking at the water and the "joggers" on the sides. When I was in Guangzhou and Hong Kong in 1986 I never heard of Shenzhen. It was just a small town, or maybe just a village, in those days. It must have been the most rapidly growing city in human history. I would NOT like to live there.
Best regards,
Gert

Hola Jorge,
Sergio

Hello Jorge,
You travelled on the bullet train, which seems significant for the focal building in your photograph resembles a bullet!
It is on a huge scale like much of the architecture in this area.
You have made a fine composition with bridge and figure in the f/g, creating a good sense of depth to the buildings.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Quel beau gratte ciel.

Hello Jorge,
You mention the bullet train in your note, but this building also looks like a bullet. It stands out nicely from the skyline of smaller towers. Good clarity and sharpness and the man at left is also well included.
