Photographer's Note

The Abraham Lincoln - named after the U.S.'s 16th president - is part of the U.S. Asia Pacific Command deployed to Aceh for the humanitarian mission.

This is an old photo of the carrier's control tower - note the guy at the top.

It was taken in 1998 when the fleet arrived at Hong Kong for some R&R. I joined a small tour group and we were given a 2 hour tour of the ship.
