Three times 8000m ? Yes, on this picture taken form the Pang-La pass in Tibet, we can see three of the five highest mountains on earth.

On the left, in the middle of clouds, is the Makalu (8463m, 27'766ft). On the right, the highest of all, is the Everest (8848m, 29'035ft). And what about the third one ? With some kind of imagination, we can spot it just on the left of the Everest, behind the clouds that are stick to the summit of the Everest. We can see its left ridge. It is called the Lhotse (8516m, 27940ft).
