Photographer's Note

A late afternoon shot at Moni Village, Ende, on the foot of Kelimutu mountains when I spotted a single soul working the field and seemed that nothing was going to interrupt her. It was a wonderful serene place of vast luxuriant green paddy fields and wonder how nature offers so many different views and details for us to enjoy before the day came to rest.

Setting: 16 mm, 1/60 sec, F20, ISO Raw 200, 1729 hrs & polarised

A beautiful landscape with gorgeous colours, so well-saturated in the afternoon sunlight. I particularly like the combination of green and blue and also the clouds make a wonderful backdrop. The single person working in the fields is a great addition to the picture as well.

The beautiful dramatic cloudy sky makes the green landscape with the rice fields even more photogenic.
The local sunlight also contributes to the strong colour combination.

what a striking view this is. what caught my attention from the gallery page were the colours, the blues up top and the greens along the bottom. beautiful and peaceful scene. and of course the horizontal layering works so well in these 3 sections. smart shot. cheers
