Lorelie once again.

A daughter of a Boracay artist, Lorelie is no stranger to people eager to photograph her. Somehow, it was easy convincing her to pose for me though it was equally easy for her to strike a pose because all she needed to just look at me with those expressive eyes. Her gaze in all of my shots (and I'm talking about almost 30) were somehow similar BUT looking at them thoroughly, each one shows very distinguishable emotions. Here, she looks passive yet intense.

Lorelie's skin color also typifies Filipinos golden complexion. Her not so high nose is also very Filipino. But she has this slight Spanish feature in her eyes. Bottomline is, she has her soul piercing through me the more that I stare in her eyes.

Your continuous turnout of highest-standard portraiture work is sure impressive, Manny. The big bright eyes are essential for the emotional aspect of this one, I think. The colors and subtle light are exquisite, too.

She is really hypnotosing, Manny. The skin and the BG Share the same colors, so it looks like her blacl eyes flashes from the image. Simply great, wonderful portrait.

Although I like your other shot for its interesting composition this one did not strike me straight away but grows on you the more you look at it.Here those marble eyes stare right back at you and fixate my view and the photo has a certain honesty and elegance abou it with the hair sweeping a little.Beautifully perfect

This is really a great portrait !
The look is grabbing you : the depth of field is well chosen.

Hi Manny, nice portraiture...the framing, the catchlight in her eyes, her beautiful complexion and those hair compliments the drama in her eyes. Btw, her looks resembles the young filipina (probably her age too) in the movie: Mitch Albom's The Five People You Meet in Heaven....she's Eddie's 5th person.

Hi Manuel,
All I can say is that you took a great shot. I like the eyes of that girl, they are fantastic, so big, well focused too. My suggestion would be to rotate it slightly counter clockwise within a degree or too so that the line of the eyes and the top edge are parallel. What do you think?
