Beginning of a river Photo

Photographers Note

This was taken next to a melting snowcap,the source of this river.
It is in the mountains west of Ulaangom in the most western part of the country, towards the border of Russia and about 2500 meters above sealevel.
As everywhere in Mongolia also here you see herdsman with there beasts.

Bonjour Jan,
excellent POV de trčs bas, il donne ainsi plus de panache ŕ ses montagnes presque nues de végétation.
Un magnifique ciel bien capturé, un paysage désolé mais qui ne manque pas de charme.

Not much of vegetation but quite a beautiful place which is nicely presented! really like that low pov...these big stones made for a good starting point and a nice contrast with the mountains.
I'll add it to my 'more fav.pic.' theme!

Interesting close up of the rocks contrasting with the soft velvet mountains, creating a good sense of depth. Beautiful sky, too. Congratulations and regards from Brazil!
