Photographer's Note

A typical scene from old Havana taken just around the corner from Plaza la Cathedral. Unfortunately it was a sunny day and this lady was sitting in the shade so her face has lost some definition. I tried to brighten it a bit, which i reposted.

Perhaps my original note wasn't clear, it is fairly typical in this area of the city, Habana Veija near the Plaza de la Cathedral. It was extensively renovated by the government and is clearly geared towards tourists, it is also a means of luring the tourists away from seeing the decrepit areas of the city where numerous old buildings collapse each year. Who can blame these ladys from making a living posing for photos, I just thought it made a nice composition.
