Photographer's Note

This is the Greek Orthodox church of St Theodore within the castle complex atop the hill overlooking Berat in southern Albania. It was built on the foundations of an even older church constructed in the centuries earlier. The'newer' part at the top was constructed in the 13th century. Which explains the 2 colors of red at the top and white at the bottom.
