Bruges

My second visit to Bruges since my accident, with public transport very carefully with one hand.

Dear friends and TE members, my hand and thumb are worse than first thought.
The past week I was in the hospital again due to complications and a lot of pain.
Nursing takes good care of me every day, but this could not help.
But I want to go back to Bruges my city, for a small stroll and good cup of coffee

Pressure on economy.

One of the many chocolate shops in Bruges, 200 m from the big market of Bruges.
Bruges is the chocolate city but also different breweries
But every medal has two sides. And that is no different with the chocolate success. “Bruges claims the title of Belgian and European chocolate capital. The flip side of that beautiful medal is that the constant rise of chocolate shops, but also beer boutiques, puts pressure on the Bruges economy. It is a challenge to steer that chocolate flood in the right direction. Bruges must pay attention that within ten years no water, but liquid chocolate flows through the canals

I hope that you enjoy it
