Photographers Note
...but goldies!!!
Near St Alexander Nevski Cathedral in Sofia, we found a kind of fair with so many beautiful things, some very old, some new...Watching all those old cameras I wondered where are all my father's old cameras too...I remember when I was a little kid,my father having the same hobby as I have now,he bought a few cameras, and I liked one named Zenit, only because it was so big and so bright ...of course, never tried to take pictures with that ,because it was a forbidden thing for me and my sister at that time :)
Anyway, now I will try to find them in my parents's house and maybe, who knows, some will work :)

Hello dear Isabela,
Great b&w capture and very important for me. As the Balda camera in the center second row was my very first camera I got when I was 12 (some 53 year ago !). This and some other about 40 oldies was part of my collection which I gifted about 5 years ago to a pribvate museum in İstanbul.
Therefore a good reminder for me !
TFS and best regards

Not only the cameras are oldies but the way you have post-processed the image makes the final product look like a documentary piece as well. Excellent job!
Cheers,

I will be visiting again to walk some of the mountain ranges and perhaps I should buy a goldon oldie film camera like a Hasselblad as they are now not so expensive (but the film is!) I like the way you have given this image some grainy effect which goes well with the old cameras

Fine tribute to those goldies...
Great pp to give this vintage feeling to those vintage babes. Lovely sparkles on the one lying right side.

Hi Isabela,
Travelling throught the time! These machines are really beautiful. The B6W is terrific here, very convenient for this subject. I like the "oldie" texture in the shot, the grain, the tones, the lights... It's a very good job! Thanks.
Greetings,
Angel.

Hi, Isabela,
what a neat shot for Trekearth. Doing it in black and white was a good choice for these vintage cameras and I like the straight on view and your good note. What a charming idea. Have a great week!! Warm regards,
Shelly

Hi Isa,
So you visited the neighbours... nice collection of oldies with appropriate vintage PP, the one to the right looks very much like my grandpa's camera with which I took my first pictures, if I remember well it was around 1978 in Rome during a school trip, unfortunately no trace left of the negatives :-(
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

Owooo I hope you find your dad Zenit camera, it is a good one. I have think to my a mechanical old camera, but the price was not charming a bit expensive.
Your photo is very pretty, it remmeber some old photos made in B&W. The shining star over the righ side camera gaves a magical thing to it.
Hugs

Hi Isabela
A great looking B+W, it really suits these old cameras well.
I like the dusty surface of the cameras and the harsh light in the right side.
Nice work

Hola Isabela.
Very good shot in B&W of the old cameras, my father was also a good amateur photographer fan and had some cameras same as you showed in your excellent shot. He did his post processing in his own dark room in our house, from him a got the interest in photography.
Good memories.
Well done. TFS.
Cheers.
