Sunset on cliffs
Pause of a coast which owes in whiteness of its chalky cliffs its name of " rib(coast) of Alabaster ", Étretat is an inescapable. In the North, the country of Callus spreads(widens) its landscapes protected until Tréport. The site of Étretat deserves the blow of eye in any seasons. Give him a sky of thunderstorm and it takes all the tints of grey; give him a lively sun and its chalk seems more sensational still... It was not more necessary it so that his haughty cliffs, separated by a beautiful pebble beach and punctuated by a magnificent natural arc, inspire Monet, Courbet or Guy de Maupassant. Sometimes high of more than 100 m, the cliffs of the coast of Alabaster continue in the South up to the neighborhoods of Havre.
