The tower opened to the public on March 31, 1889, making today the 126th anniversary of the tower.

I couldn't miss a photo with this funny tree.

HI Agnes,in effect the tree on the left makes the difference,so curious and so so nice,perfect to do a different pic of Eiffel Tower.It was opened for the first Expo in 1889,and now it's time for the new Expo for my city the next month! Hello agnes, difficult to make something original with Eiffel Tower but you fully succeeded. Excellent composition with the night tower and this black tree against the sky in blue hour. superb work.

Hello Agnes,
A delightful birthday card! Including the tree was a very good idea; silhouetted against the night sky, it makes an interesting and unusual frame offsetting the more rigid lines of the tower.

I agree with Luciano, those trees on the left are so perfectly cut I actually thought at first you had cut them yourself with the power of post editing :) a novel and fascinating way to present the tower of light in the city of lights. It is amazing to think how this place was so hated when it was built, but today is one of the worlds most famous icons, and deservedly so. Beautiful golden glow against blue sky, and a really interesting composition. A very happy126th Eiffel tower anniversary to you.

I like your Eiffel Tower better than the fake one we have in Las Vegas. I think the tree enhance the image. Good pov and nice details. Well done, tfs.

This is a lovely capture of a time-honoured tourist photo subject! The tiptop use of dramatic angle and perspective for effect add immense attention to the view. Lovely inky sky contrasts very well and inclusion of the branches do make a nice little frame in the corner. A fine effort, Congrats.

a beautiful picture to honour the Eiffel Tower's 126th anniversary. I think the Tower was meant to be a temporary contribution to the cityscape of Paris but today it still is as attractive and magnificent as ever, a precious landmark.
