Photographer's Note

What is quite obvious when we approach the banks of Salagou (in 45kms on the West of Montpelier), it is the red color incroyabe of the earth(ground). It is due to the presence of a rock (Specificity of the pond of Salagou) called Ruffe, this one is extremely rich in iron oxides which bring it this red color. This rock appeared on the scene to the end of the primary era there is more than two hundred million years.
