The castle of the 13th 14th 17th centuries, is classified historic building since 1963. Private property.

The castle is mentioned in 1162. Partly destroyed in 1585, it was partially rebuilt at the beginning of the 17th century.

LAVALETTE is a french commune, located in the department of Hérault of the Languedoc-Roussillon area, populated of 48 Lavalettois in 2005, distributed out of 8.5 km², that is to say 5.6 hab/km².
