Photographer's Note

The Montmarte area of Paris is well-known for its bohemian history and artistic crowd. It is one of the liveliest areas in the city, and its small winding streets perched on a hill overlooking the city provide a nice, removed feel from the open, wide streets and plazas by the main tourist sites.

This shot was taken of a living statue performer at the Sacre-Coeur basilica that tops the hill of Montmarte. This performer was all done in white and holding a single flower, and moved quite a lot for a supposed statue. He was a clear crowd favorite, but as he was perched atop a small podium I managed to get several interesting shots of him.

Thoughts and critiques always welcomed and appreciated.
