Photographer's Note

On Sunday we visited a most interesting archeological site just over the border in Germany (about 5 km from where the three countries Germany, France and Luxembourg have a triangle frontier). Some twenty years ago the ruins of a large Roman villa from the second century A.D. were discovered and the local government decided to rebuild the entire place exactly as it looked almost 2000 years ago. To walk through the buldings which have been reconstructed with the utmost care is a trip back in time.
This is a shot from a restroom after bathing in the luxurious baths that Roman noblemen would always have as part of their villas - especially in the high cold north 3000 km from Rome.
I sharpened and added contrast with PS and removed dust with NI. This is an interior shot without flash or tripod and the Casio is a very small camera indeed.
