Beautiful streets of Corfu.
The city of Corfu stands on the broad part of a peninsula, whose termination in the Venetian citadel is cut off from it by an artificial fosse formed in a natural gully, with a seawater moat at the bottom, that now serves as a marina and is called the Contrafossa. The old town, having grown within fortifications, where every metre of ground was precious, is a labyrinth of narrow streets paved with cobblestones, sometimes tortuous but colourful and clean. These streets are known as kantoúnia , and the older amongst them sometimes follow the gentle irregularities of the ground; while many are too narrow for vehicular traffic. A promenade rises by the seashore towards the bay of Garitsa , together with an esplanade between the city and the citadel known as Spianada with the Liston (it) arcade to its west side, where restaurants and bistros abound (from Wikipedia)

I'm sorry to say that the cat will be sadly disappointed if it's looking for any quick and easy meaty snacks in the vegetable market. But it makes a great focal point so good to include it. Tfs!

Cześć Piotrze, Tu jest tylko jeden kot, na Cyprze jest podobno półtora miliona kotów, jak zawołasz to przychodzi do Ciebie mnóstwo. Lubie koty, to dla mnie to była wielka radość. Sympatyczna uliczka, warzywa jak na moim bazarku. A gdzie sprzedawca?

Dear Piotr!
Nie ma znów ludzi, ale jest kot i to nie bylejaki kot, ale kot z Corfu. No i jest sklep z prawej, pewnie ktoś w sklepie pracuje. Ładna kolorystyka. Ładna pustka. Pewnie to wyjątkowa chwila, bo ludzi tu, jak się domyślam, zatrzęsienie. Dobra ostrość.

The vegetables a re nicely displayed. Maybe there is also some fish available for the cat approaching the store. The bright pink wall forms a nice background to this pleasant and colourful composition.

A good capture of this narrow alleyway and the abundant amount of vegetables on display. The lonely cat is very well included in this otherwide deserted part of town. Good lighting and fine pastel colours.
