Photographer's Note

On the summer of 2006 I was in Budapest for a month and a half.

I don't remember the exact details of the riots and I want to apologize if I'm describing something wrong, or simplifying complicated thing. As I've understood, the catalizator for the riots was that the prime minister said that he was lying during the election campaign. The first day was pretty violent and cars were burned in the streets neer the parliament. On the days after there were protests of the oposition neer the parlament, and there I went to take some photos.

The guy in the photo is a cop which was guarding the parliament building with many more other cops. Although there were many cops in the place there were "many many" protestors in front of them.

What I was looking for is the look in his eyes and the expression of his face, and that is also the reason why I took the photo in B/W.

I hope you'll like, and if I've made some mistakes of describing the riots, please let me know and I'll fix my mistakes.
