Photographer's Note

Stunningly beautiful are the floats that make up the procession of the annual Flower Parade from Noordwijk to Haarlem.
These floats are unbelievable. They are decorated in real flowers which have to stay in place during the 40km trip which is known as the worlds' most beautiful traffic jamb.
The series I shall post have been taken at a point along the route therefore they will be abscured to some degree by some of the hundreds of thousands that turn out to view the passing parade.
Look through the people and simply admire the millions of flowers that make up the floats and appreciate the hours of work taken to complete them.
For obvious reasons nearly all the photos will be cropped to eliminate as much dead space as possible.
