Like in 2017, I went to the Parade of Seniors in Warsaw.

More than 10,000 elderly hit the streets of Warsaw on Saturday in a "Mature and Great" parade for seniors, headed by Poland's oldest DJ, Wika, who turns 80 this year.
Now in its fifth year, the parade aimed to encourage an active old age.

It ended with a picnic during which over-60s were able to learn nordic walking, take part in pottery workshops, rub shoulders with celebrities, and dance.

According to the organizers, the event aimed to showcase the "energy, potential and creativity" of the nearly ten million seniors in Poland while also shining a light on the problems they face.

It was a fantastic event, full of joy and fun, as you can maybe see here.

My friend was one of the organizers and she told the journalist about my passion for travels. Yesterday I had an interview, 15 minutes on the Radio as the old woman travelling around the world alone. The title was: Retired but on the suitcases. At first, I was a bit reluctant to go there but the curiosity won. It was a nice experience.
