Photographer's Note

The picture isn´t much but I can tell so many things about it:

1 - The place is Lisbon, capital city of Portugal, place were Expo 98, the last big world fair of the 20th century, took place;

2 - The river is the Tagus, the biggest river of the Iberean peninsula, born in Spain and ending here in Lisbon, where it meets the Atlantic ocean;

3 - This shore is the Lisbon side and the big pipes took water to the nearby thermic electricity plant, that once provided power to the city. It is now transformed into a museum (this particular day it was presenting the Star Wars exhibit);

4-The bridge over the Tagus, named '25th of April' after the 1974 democratic revolution, was once the biggest suspended bridge in Europe, built by the same guys that made the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco;

5 - The far shore is Cacilhas, not a famous place by it self but it has some very nice restaurants were you can have the finest fresh fish. You get there by boat (there's a connection from Lisbon every 10 minutes) or by car.
