Just a simple photo.

You can clearly see which side of the hill is the sunny one and which one the shady. You can also immediately tell it`s not a momentary thing because of the amount of snow you see on the respective sides.

Slovenia must have a lot of churches (background) per person, because you seem to see one (or four) in every village. Some of them are also built high up - the logic of that predates "modern era" and goes way back to the 17th century or so, when they served as a sort of fortification against the skirmishes of the Ottoman empire and their vassal states ... I think. ;D

I`ll try to upload more mountain scenery shots you get to see when you reach the top (which I actually did with no small effort:>), but the lighting conditions really werent that good so the shots are also not .. that good.
