What a poor guy, standing alone on his cross since so many years now... i love the soft light posing on his chest and the dramatic effect resulting from your POV! Great sensitive shot Stephen!

Excellent light on that beautiful marble piece. Your crop is a daring one, and the result is good. I like the compo with the head well placed and the arm taking so much place in the shot. Black of the BG is perfect. Congrats,

Hi Stephen. Usually pictures of sculpture leave me wondering just who's art I'm looking at but this superbly composed shot doesn't come into that catergory. The point of view and the inclusion of just part of the statue and making excellent use of the available light for dramatic effect makes this definitely your work. A particularly fine piece of work too!
