Photographer's Note

I wasn't planning on posting this photo so soon, but that changed after seeing Malgo's post from her recent experience in Iceland.

Some TE members are fully aware of my 'luck' when it comes to photographing professional models while I'm on my holiday travels. It has happened to me in almost every destination, without fail, I don't know how or why...but it happens. And it happened again in Barcelona.

We were finished photographing some local architecture, when we noticed this lady and her group of handlers/photographers, there were about 6 of them.

I had to try and collect photo's of my own. What was funny though, was the reaction of the group. They could see that I was trying to photograph the model, so they kept moving in patterns to block my vantage point of her.

I wasn't being disruptive at all, I stayed a good distance away, its not like I was walking directly up to the group - I was trying to be respectful while still trying to get my own shots.

I had to use my 50-130mm lens, so I was a good distance away. However, they tried very hard to block me...so i just kept moving around as well, to counteract their actions.

The model noticed, and she made eye contact with me a number of times. You'll see in the WS photo where I captured one of those moments.

I hope you like these shots
