Photographer's Note

Montserrat's mountain in Catalonia is the site of a Benedictine abbey, where 100 monks reside and is the home of the famous Escolanía (Children's Choir). The impressive Basilica with his sculpture of the Virgin Mary (The Moreneta) is known commonly as The Black Virgin. The legend says that the statue has both curative power and of fertility that is served to the hundreds of visitors who are doing tail to touch the statue.
After going out of the Basilica that there crosses the Way of Bird Maria, who is a tunnel excavated between the wall of the temple and the mountain we meet on returning to the portico. The place in yes, it is illuminated by candles of different colors that illuminate the visitors after visiting the Virgin. It is a beautiful sight on having seen all the rows of flushed candles.
