Photographer's Note

The Passion Facade on the west face of the Sagrada Familia while to an outline design of Gaudi was only continued after his death and the architectural detail and particularly the sculpture by Josep Maria Sibirachs had a different feel from the original Nativity Facade with its more organic forms.
I'm not sure how Samson of the Old Testament fits in with the Passion, however! Or maybe it is a depiction of the Scourging of Christ and symbolises the cataclysm that follows on for the Roman Empire? A striking image nevertheless.
