Photographer's Note

Parc Guell, Barcelona.
In my book about Gaudi and Parc Guell, this is described as a 'Cart shelter', and could possibly remind one of an elephant, although I haven't got the best point of view for that suggestion!

Parc Guell began life as an idea and collaboration between Antoni Gaudi and Eusebi Guell. They had planned a residential complex; however lack of interest shown by the upper-class for the project led to the suspension of building work in 1914.

In 1922,the City Council acquired the complex in order to transform it into a public park and, in 1984 UNESCO recognised its enormous artistic value and declared it a World Heritage Site.
See the two extra shots in the workshop.
Thank you for looking.
