Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

This shot was taken in Manchester on the morning of Remembrance Sunday, just after the parade.

If you look at this , one of my previous photographs, you may notice all the silver coloured supports, joined by bright red cord, to define lanes for the marchers.

I chatted to a worker, who was beginning to remove these dividers. I asked to whom they belonged and where were they kept. Seemingly, they are rented from an events company.

Before the last pieces were collected, I quickly got a close-up of one of the spheres. Although I couldn't avoid capturing myself reflected, I hoped you might, also, see the workman. He is on the l/h side of the sphere with one of the supports in his hand. He was very patient and waited until I had the shot I wanted. I suppose he was a bit confused as to why a lady would be wanting to take a photograph of a piece of ceremonial paraphernalia!!!

Have a lovely day, Bev :-)
