"I want to tell her that I love her a lot
But I gotta get a bellyful of wine"

- Paul

QUEEN VICTORIA inherited the British throne at the age of 18 and ruled over Great Britain and Ireland until her death on 22 January 1901. As British monarch she also was the head of state in the many "overseas" colonies of the British empire.

Queen Victoria was identified with strict standards of personal morality and became both a national icon and a global symbol of her times.

It's the Victorian Age that made Liverpool one of the world's main ports of trade. Queen Victoria has two monuments in Liverpool. There's the large Victoria Monument on Derby Square and this equestrian statue in front of St George's Hall.
