Photographer's Note

Okay, so not much going for this photographically speaking, but maybe better on the learning about the world front.

And, anyway, it quite amused me when I saw it, and I just knew I would have to post it... ( answers on a postcard etc etc... !! )

For all that, Traquair was an important place in its day, loosely the 12th century. It was during a visit to Traquair House, or Palace as it was then known, that William I of Scotland granted a charter for the erection of a burgh with the power to hold markets every Thursday.

That burgh today is known as Glasgow.
