Photographer's Note

Drovers Inn, north of Loch Lomond.
Dark building with the same look as 300 years ago but inside a pleasant place for lodging. Sympathic bar and restaurant, each friday evening live music and strong ambiance...One of my favorite place for one or two nights...

I heard this pleasant story from the manager of another inn on Skye:
In a recent past were organized scot games...Kind of "local olympic games" for local people. One of these games was a pig race. English pig against scot pig. Before racing both pigs were painted with national color of respective flags...The race was public with a very animated atmosphere...Never the english pig has won...
Before the race, scots gave beer to drink to english pig..and when the race started the english pig was unable to be performant...
While, at the opposite, scots people with the same beverage were very active during games...

Obviously this race does not exist now...
