The Giant's Causeway (Irish: Clochán an Aifir or Clochán na bhFómharach) is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic eruption. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986, and a National Nature Reserve in 1987 by the Department of the Environment for Northern Ireland. (wikipedia)

It's located near from Bushmills in County Antrim along the northeast coast of Northern Ireland. I have visited this place several times and for almost all my visits, the weather was terrible: this day as well... I couldn't see my friends at 5m from me... Instead of taking a picture of a deep white fog, I preferred this round stone in the middle of the other hexagonal stones at my feet. But the colors and the contrast are not very good....

If don't know yet the legend of the battle between the Irish Finn McCool and the Scottish Benandonner, it's time to read this wonderful story!
