Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

Red telephone kiosks were once a common sight in the U.K. and were as familiiar as red double decker buses.

Now, they are few and far between so imagine my surprise to see one situated on an island in the middle of a fishing lake! It was old, somewhat dilapidated but possibly useful for quack calls!

Renovated red telephone boxes can be bought as decorations for your garden but the cost goes into thousands of pounds.

There is a most interesting section about them here, from Wikipedia for anyone who would like to know more.

Thank you for stopping by, Bev :-)
