Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

Please click on Along the River Nidd to see the photograph much larger and clearer.

The River Nidd flows through a deep gorge, with the town of Knaresborough built along the valley floor and up the steep sides.

The Victorian viaduct, straddles the river, whilst along the banks of the river are cafes and restaurants, and places to hire rowing boats. At holiday times, and weekends, this is a very social part of the town. Though there were not many people boating, when we were there, the cafes and restaurants were very busy.

I wish you a happy Sunday, Bev :-)
