Photographer's Note

Leith Hill, at just under 1,000 feet, is the highest point in the Southeast of England, with views as far as London to the north and the Sussex coast to the south on a clear day. This is looking north to the misty North Downs. It's a popular area for walkers and cyclists, and although there is car parking near the top of the hill, the nicest approach is a 6-mile round walk starting from Holmwood station (one stop south of Dorking) via the pretty village of Coldharbour.
