Photographer's Note

This scene brought back childhood memories for me.

Its all about the clothes line!
Growing up in Newfoundland, everyone hung their clothes outside on the line to dry - where i live now in Vancouver - Nobody hangs their clothes out on the line.

If we did that here, i'm sure someone would think i'm crazy and they'd have me committed to the nearest Psychiatric facility.

I guess its just a different lifestyle. Everyone in newfoundland has a dryer, all my aunts/uncles/grandparents/family had one, but they simply prefer to hang clothes outstide.
Walking around even in the capital city of St. John's, all you see are clothes hanging outside to dry!

Different lifestyle, different upbringing, same country. Canada is so large, you often see these differences all accross the country.

Hope it brings back some memories for you aswell!
Cheers
