Photographer's Note

Kensington Market is one of Toronto's main historical markets. Originally in the heart of the Jewish section of the city of Spadina, the market is now beside Chinatown. Largely portugese, jamaican and student area.. 100 year old houses, great fruit and vegetable stores, cheese stores, a few jamaican jerk and roti stores, used clothing stores, and inexpensive clothing stores.

The cat is in one of the vegetable stores - he is intently studying the banana (I think) with peas overhead. I sharpened, changed levels (deepened middle slider - for increased saturation),. increased saturation a little and contrast a little. cropped a bit too - maybe not enough??
