The Mountains near Whistler

Another photo showing the beautiful scenery of British Columbia. I took this photo at the edge of Green Lake near the town of Whistler. The peaks at the other end of the water are part of the Garibaldi Ranges, the highest ones are, from left to right, Mount Weart (2870m) with the Armchair Glacier, Rethel Mountain (2408m) and Wedge Mountain (2891m), the highest mountain of the Garibaldi Ranges. Whistler is a town and resort about 125km north of Vancouver. It hosted most of the numerous events, including the alpine ones, at the 2010 Winter Olympics.
