Photographer's Note

This is a view of the Delaware Canal in New Hope. This canal was used in the 1800's to transport goods between Philadelphia and other cities and towns in eastern Pennsylvania.

The haze in the photo is due to the humid conditions. I liked the effect it produced on the setting and made an attempt to capture it.

I was standing on the bridge and had to place the camera on a concrete post to get the shot. So, in essence, that was my tripod. It took we several attempts to get the shot because each time a car crossed over it, the bridge would vibrate.
